Self-Limiting Heating Tapes |
Self-limiting heating tapes work independently: they regulate their heating power depending on the rise in temperature, which guarantees that there is no further heating-up when the end temperature is reached and that the temperature stays constant. If there are changes in temperature in some sections of the heating tape, the respective sections adapt independently to the ambient temperature. Thus, a uniform heating is guaranteed. As it is no problem if the heating tapes overlap each other, they are especially suitable for uneven surfaces like pumps, valves and junctions.
The heating tapes can be supplies as yard ware with a finishing set for the individual installation on-site. However, it is also possible to order them ready-made according to your requirements.

This selflimiting heating tape is designed for a working temperature of 120 °C. Thus, it can be used for installations that are cleaned with steam.
There is no starting current when the heating circuit starts working.
